About Mississauga Rotary Ribfest

Mississauga Rotary Ribfest is proudly hosted by the Rotary Clubs of Mississauga and Mississauga West. Together, these service-driven organizations bring the community together each year for an unforgettable weekend of food, fun, and philanthropy.

More Than Just Ribs – It’s a Community Movement

Mississauga Rotary Ribfest is not just the city’s biggest BBQ festival — it’s a community-driven event with heart, powered by volunteers and organized by two dedicated service clubs:

  • The Rotary Club of Mississauga

  • The Rotary Club of Mississauga West

Every summer, these two Rotary clubs come together to plan, host, and run Ribfest with one goal in mind: to raise funds for local and global causes while bringing the community together for a weekend of fun, food, and entertainment.

Who’s Behind the Scenes?

Behind every rib, every band, and every smiling volunteer is a group of passionate Rotarians and community members who spend months preparing for the festival. They are local professionals, business owners, retirees, and community leaders, volunteering their time and energy to make Ribfest a success year after year.

From event logistics and vendor coordination to sponsorship, marketing, and cleanup — it’s all made possible by the people behind the scenes who believe in “Service Above Self,” Rotary’s guiding motto.

Why We Do It

We do it for the smiles.
We do it for the impact.
We do it because we believe strong communities are built through service, connection, and compassion.

So when you attend Mississauga Rotary Ribfest, you’re not just enjoying amazing food and entertainment — you’re helping build a better Mississauga.

What is Rotary?

Rotary is a global humanitarian organization with over 1.4 million members in more than 200 countries. Rotary members are committed to taking action to create lasting change — locally and around the world. The Rotary Clubs of Mississauga and Mississauga West focus on projects that support health care, education, youth programs, food security, and disaster relief, both in our own city and internationally.

Where Does the Money Go?

Mississauga Rotary Ribfest is a 100% volunteer-run, not-for-profit event. Every dollar raised through admissions, sponsorships, and donations goes directly back into the community.

Each year, the event helps raise an average of $100,000, supporting:

  • Trillium Health Partners Foundation – funding leading-edge, life-saving equipment for the new Peter Gilgan Mississauga Hospital

  • Youth programs and scholarships

  • Local food banks and shelters

  • International humanitarian initiatives

To date, Ribfest has raised more than $2.1 million for charitable causes — and it’s all thanks to the support of our community, sponsors, vendors, and volunteers.

Ribfest Mississauga is collaboratively organized by Rotary Club of Mississauga and Rotary Club of Mississauga West.
